Whelprigg House Bluebells and Azaleas Open Garden Event

Please join us as we return to Whelprigg House for a bluebells and azaleas open garden event.

Sunday 11th May 2025
11.30am-3pm
We will have a plant sale plus homemade cakes and refreshments.
Admission: £5 including drink and a biscuit (under 10’s free). No need to book, you can just turn up.
Well behaved dogs on lead welcome.
Please note on-site parking is limited, however parking is available in Barbon with scenic walking trail to Whelprigg House. Please see description of route below.

Scenic Walking Route Details

Parking available at Barbon Village Hall by kind permission of the Village Hall Committee
Walking boots are recommended
The walk is through fields and farm land, so is unfortunately not pushchair or wheelchair accessible
Route length: 0.8 miles
Route time: approx 20 minutes
Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times
The route will be signposted on the day.
